Guitar Pro for iPhone/iPad

Arobas Music released the Guitar Pro mobile app for iPhone and iPad in 2012, especially for Apple lovers. The software is compatible with iPod Touch, iPad and iPhone. It allows you to read and play the tablatures in gp3, gp4, gp5, and gpx formats (Guitar Pro 6 format). In addition, there is an option that allows recording your own tablatures and editing them. You can download any files through Wi-Fi and iTunes (for your convenience, you can use the search engine and filters in the libraries). Playback settings are limited to the required minimum. The metronome will be with you anywhere and adapted to your needs. Stress the first beat and easily change its soundbank, so you do not get tired of its gentle company. You can hide the playback cursor, have the guitar fretboard visible, or loop any section you want, at any time. Your choices of possible settings for your tabs are limitless, including acoustic or electric guitars, basses, keyboards, strings, voices, brass, winds, and percussions. The Guitar Pro application allows you to change any of those in real time to create new
arrangements.

Guitar Рro Android is a score editor for mobile devices compatible with the Android OS, versions 2.1 or later. Actually, this is a mobile version of the Guitar Рro app.

The interface is intuitive and causes no problems controlling the application.

You can see a bass guitar fingerboard or a keyboard instead of a regular guitar fingerboard. The settings allow you to select which tracks will play, to separately control their volume, to change the size of the scores shown, to make overall halftone shifts, to change the tempo (changing the playback speed is made very simple, you can do it by moving the slider in the upper part of the screen), and to loop the playback of a selected part. Besides, you can turn on the metronome or the countdown feature.

For many years already, the Guitar Pro application has been a reliable assistant to guitarists, bass guitarists, and other musicians. Guitar Pro 6 represents the evolutionary peak of this product by the Arobas Music Company. This new version eliminates those minor drawbacks of the earlier versions and also adds a series of new helpful features.

The Guitar Pro 6 application is actually a powerful MIDI editor intended mainly for guitarists and bass guitarists. And it is mainly used as a tablature builder that allows you to simultaneously record notes for the tabs. The application allows making, editing and playing complete multitrack compositions with string, keyboard, wind and percussion parts, as well as recording vocal parts, lyrics, and composition info. In addition, there are plenty of other features which can be helpful in your musical practice: tuner, metronome, chord builder and finder, scale constructor, and lots of others.

This software is written and released by the French company Arobas Music in 2006. Guitar Pro is a powerful musical editor offering all of the functionalities and a user-friendly interface. Besides its regular functionalities it offers many other useful features.
